Uwaga na oszustów przy wynajmowaniu mieszkania!

Na necie raz na jakiś czas można trafić na scamy związane z wynajmowaniem mieszkań:

Dotychczas problem ten dotyczył raczej mieszkań wynajmowanych w innych krajach. Tymczasem mój kumpel prawie się wkopał w podobną akcję w Warszawie. Na jego prośbę pomijam dokładne szczegóły, chcę tylko przestrzec przed schematem działania.
Generalnie jest tak: Pojawia się idealna oferta (świetne warunki, pełne umeblowanie, niska cena) na popularnym portalu z ogłoszeniami. Okazuje się, że możliwy jest tylko kontakt mailowy, ponieważ właściciel mieszkania nie zna języka polskiego, nie przebywa w Polsce itd. Jeżeli zdecydujecie się odpowiedzieć na taką ofertę, to możecie otrzymać takiego e-maila:

I bought this apartment for my daughter during her studies, but now she's back home permanently, so I'm renting the place for unlimited time.
The flat is exactly like in the pictures, furnished and renovated. The utilities (cold/hot water, electricity, wireless broadband Internet, digital TV , dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, etc.) are included in the monthly rent. You will have one parking spot.
The rent is 1400 PLN/month . The security deposit is 2800 PLN. You can get it back when you decide to leave the apartment or you will not pay the last two months rent. When you will decide to leave the apartment you will have to give me at least 30 days notice. As for me, you can rest assured that I will never ask you to leave the apartment. My daughter is building her life here, so we will not disturb you.
You can use my furniture or you can also use your own if you prefer. If you decide to use yours, you will have access to a very large and well ventilated cellar, where you can store my furniture.
Now, a little bit about myself so we can get to know each other better. My name is [imię i nazwisko właściciela - zapewne może się różnić] and I'm a 64 years old , Deputy Director of Cámara de Comercio from Santander, planning to retire in the next 2 years.
I have a lovely wife and a daughter. I am very proud to say that soon I'm going to be a grandfather. Another member of our family is a 8 year old Labrador which we all love, so, I have no problem if you will have pets.
The only inconvenience is that my job doesn't allow me to leave Santander even for one single day. We just hired some new staff and I'm in charge of their training.
But this won't affect you at all. I can make arrangements to rent the apartment from Spain (on my expense of course).
Before we go any further I would like to know a little something about you, like how many persons you intend to live in the apartment and for how long.

W tym momencie oferta znika z portalu (nie mam cache ani screena niestety), a właściciel obiecuje wysłać klucze. W międzyczasie my zostajemy poproszeni o wpłacenie kaucji, a kontakt zapewne urwie się raz na zawsze.
Sprawa może się wydawać oczywista, ale nie każdy może się zorientować w porę - szukając mieszkania na ostatnią chwilę możemy być zbyt zaaferowani tym, że udało nam się znaleźć super ofertę.
Miejcie na uwadze takie nieuczciwe praktyki (i koniecznie zgłaszajcie) kiedy następnym razem będziecie szukać nowego lokum.
