Mnie się nie wydaje, że tu nie jest źle napisane, tylko "naukowy" nie ogarnął.

Odwrotnie skorelowany czyli wyższy wzrost, niższe ryzyko magika. Stąd "lowered" w tym zdaniu jest raczej wtórne ale nie odwraca znaczenie. Przyznam jednak, że może być mylące.
